Just thought that there was no entry this year ..so here i am scribbling something just to start it off and keep it updated ..
Anything memorable :My last week trip to Surathkal and to the Udupi Krishna temple ,with ny sis and Dad . My dad wanted to go there to visit the temple,but my sis and I were also happy as we got to go to the beach.There's a beautiful temple near the Surathkal lighthouse and you can have a fabulous view of the sunset . I remember spending my time with friends there when I was studying at NITK ..
So this time when I went there I took my sis along .While returning we ate the typical Surathkal Bhel (which has carrots,mango and beetroot!!!) --Its all the same ..The same ppl ,same taste ..nothing seems to have changed much ..the same quiet place --And i hope it stays that way .

The town has very little to write abt ,but around the town there are a lot of resorts and nature camps --jungle lodges,bison resort,kulgi nature camp ..Also the Kavalla caves,Ullavi temple,Supa Dam,Syntheri rocks are other places of interest ... You can find a lot of info abt these on other sites .. You know u're looking for a house when ...

1. You unconsciously start looking at sites and guessing the dimensions 30*40 / 40*60 You start looking at tiles and guessing if its a 2"*2" or 1.5"*1.5" ..Same for the rooms 2. The Times Property section becomes mores interesting than the Bangalore times page 3. You are more interested in home loans than ever before.You also finally start observing your bank balances to check if have the necessary 15% to pay the initial amts... 4.
