Tick tock tick tock ...the clock goes on

Its been two years since I got married.
Rushes :
6 months at "Amchi mumbai"
Initial days of marriage :)
Worked in a startup in which i was the 13th employee :)
Life in the campus ...
Treks in the sahyadris
Return to bangalore
Joined Citrix --Bored employee intially
9 weeks of non stop weekends around Karnataka and more treks
Fun at Citrix ..great time with friends at work // Crosswords and carrom
The occasional house hunt //peer and family pressure
Mrg phase 2 //acc to G's traditions :)
Getting to know the inlaws and G's family
Weekends at inlaws //which i dreaded ,then tried avoiding ,then got used to,now i can hande it well :)
Some weekends at Hospet //the kids,G's adorable neices save me there :)
The memorable trip to manali and the 3-day trek to malana
Trips to kodai,pondi ,shimoga,chikmagalur
Read some good books
Escaped a layoff in office //just for the time being ... may need updating on monday morning we never know //
Started learning the guitar ...

And life goes on ...

The town has very little to write abt ,but around the town there are a lot of resorts and nature camps --jungle lodges,bison resort,kulgi nature camp ..Also the Kavalla caves,Ullavi temple,Supa Dam,Syntheri rocks are other places of interest ... You can find a lot of info abt these on other sites .. Kodachadri : A fabulous weekend !!!

Sunset @ Marvanthe beach Sunrise @ kodachadri Date : 5th Jan and 6th Jan 2008 Junta : Rani ,Shivaji and Guru, Dakshina Route :Bangalore -Shimoga-Kodachadri Junction-Kodachadri-Kollur-Marvanthe-Kundapur-Bangalore I think its once in a lifetime that u get to catch the sunlight over a hill and sunset over the sea. At least for me it was a great SUN Day :We literally followed the Sun !!! :) For some logistics : We set out by the Friday night 10.30 train to Shimoga .Reached there at 6.45 pm; freshened up; and took a service bus to Kollur [Another 3 hours ]. [You can direcly go to Kollur as well,and travel by jeep directly to Kodachadri ].
